Anyone know how to test a Compool 3800 TS-5L temperature sensor?

Are they resistive, and what would nominal resistance be at 60-70F?

I'm getting an intermittent dreaded "Err1" on the Compool, and sometimes erratic temperature reports. I suspect the problem is the wiring between the controller and sensor getting wet, but before I attack it I wanted to try to isolate and test the sensor itself.

Any idea how to test such a sensor for basic functionality?

There is a resistance chart somewhere but you can always swap it with, or compare it with the freeze sensor.

Take it off and look at it. It may be split, or cracked. then you will know right away if its bad.
