I will be using a solid cover, and CYA is around 60... Can I close with chlorine at or above shock values?
I've been running chlorine at/above shock levels for the last few days in preparation for pool closing this weekend, but I've just realized that since the water is much cooler, and sun isn't shining as long, I'm still gonna be at shock level come Saturday/Sunday. Will that be ok, or do I need to wait for FC to drop to avoid a bleached liner next spring?

You'll be fine. The suggested shock value takes a liner pool into consideration so you will have no unwanted effects.
