Glad you decided to STOP going pool-free. And once it's done, be sure to START going trouble-free!

Do keep us posted with pics as you progress.

Did they include that in the price of the build? That has to be expensive. Wow

It was all included in the price. I told them you WILL hit rock. I see these post where the dig, plumb, and rebar in a day or 2, not in my back yard.

My cousin's mom's pool hit rock, they wanted an extra $1,000 per day or per foot (I don't recall which). They ended up with a pool that was something under 4' deep :)

That will be beautiful when they finish. You must live in Central Texas.

One thing I don't miss about living in central Texas is hitting solid limestone 8 inches below the soil surface. UGH!

Here are some pics of our old pool. The new one is just the opposite of the old one.

Hope they are shooting this today and you're busy watching them. Nice dig!

Hey beachman - I'm from just down the road here in Dripping Springs. It's been a brutal Texas summer, eh?

I really like the design. We did a swim-up bar as well and it is a popular gathering place in the pool.

Best of luck on the rest of the build!

Nice look pool Beachman...

I'm in the process of building at the moment as well. Quick question for you: the plumbing sticking up from the bottom of your pool, are they returns? What are they?

The pipes are the Paramount in-floor cleaner. There are 6 stations with a total of 19 heads.
