Hi guys,

I have just recently acquired some land in the Coromandel (regional area in NZ) that has a small thermal hot spring and was going to see if I'm able to create a reservoir where this can be collected and channeled back to another reservoir near the house (for hot tub reasons)

I currently live in Te Aroha so I don't have much time getting out there (since it's like 90min drive) and just wondering if anyone else has heard similar instances of people using thermal springs on their own land for their own needs.

DCreative, welcome to TFP!

I don't think anyone here has any experience with something like that. It sure sounds interesting though! I've built temporary "hot tubs" at thermal springs using a shovel and a couple tarps, but nothing more.
