We have had an amazingly green free pool ALL SUMMER! I am SO excited about that, I can't tell you how much! Thanks!

So, we are away the last two weeks in August, come home labor day weekend. Just wondering:

1: Any special vacation prep we should be doing? and
2: What should we do to close it up for the season?

18' round AGP
sand filter ..BIG...works for a 24' round

Hey welcome aboard! Glad you had a good pool season. I would suggest having someone come by and add Chlorine if that would be possible. Otherwise not sure what to suggest for a two week period. Someone will come along and help on that. As for winterizing, check this out...

I don't get "Pool Stored". Grocery and Hardware stores have all I need.

There are a few vacation threads that you might want to take a look at. Use the Google search function at the very bottom left of every page.

You have passed the OCLT when: 1)You lose 1ppm or less FC overnight, & 2)You have .5ppm CC's or less, & 3)your water is clear.
