I cant find a definitive answer in my local codes.
How far from the pool does the control panel for the pump timer/SWG need to be.
Being that the cord on the cell is only 15' I am very limited.
Also, does it need to be above water level?
Thanks!

The power supply for the cell should be near the equipment pad, no more than 12 feet from where the cell is going to be located. Where you get power for the controller/transformer is up to you. Some cells have an available extension to go beyond the 15'.

I want to relocate that box above the water level. To the rail next to the steps in the second photo. My concern, is that far enough away from the pool wall?

NEC 680.22 says it shall not be less than 6 ft from the inside of the wall, if it meets the following:
(1) Consist of single receptacles.
(2) Employ a Locking configuration.
(3) Are of the grounding type.
(4) Have GFCI protection.

If it doesn't meet all those things it can't be less than 10' from inside the wall.

Thanks bama!
I believe it fits the criteria.
It's going to be close to the 6' mark though
