Don't worry about your TA level till the conversion is complete. TA at 150 isn't a big deal.

It has only been 3 days since I added the cya, but the water is so clear that I couldn't wit to run the test!
Here are the numbers I have so far:

FC 9.5
CC .5
TC 10
PH 7.2
CH 120
CYA 25

I know the cya has to come up, but should I wait the full 5 days before I add?

Thanks!

Yes, wait till five days after adding CYA, then test the level and then adjust from there.

Ok, I waited the 5 days and tested. Here are the results!
FC 8
CC 0
TC 8
PH 7.2
T/A 150
CH 120
CYA 45

According to the calculator all I really need to do is bring my PH up by adding borax. Does that sound right?

I am leaving for a week, so Wednesday is the last day I have to get my water balanced. I will have someone checking my Chlorine level, but they won't be able to use the TS 100 Kit.

I will post a picture when I get back, the pool looks great! It is nice to be able to see the bottom again!

PH of 7.2 is at the bottom end of okay for now. So leave it alone, chances are because your TA is 150 it may rise on it's own. So I'd just leave it! :goodjob:

Great! you all have been so helpfull! I am a little nervous about not being able to monitor my levels for a week, but I'm sure it will be fine, if not, I know where to come for questions!

Thanks again everyone! :whoot:
