I have a cartridge filter (hayward 325Sqft) and am wondering if I take the cartridge assembly out of the body and reassemble can I safely blow out my return lines going through the filter. I would be using a 2.5 hp shop vac. (oops, I need to update equip. profile... no more sand filter and no more clorinator)

For blowing out the lines, as long as the body is fully assembled it doesn't matter if the cartridges are inside or not.
