Wondering if anyone has opinions on either Bull or CalFlame BBQS? We are looking to purchase a BBQ for an island we are building. Don't want to spend $4000! Seems that for $1,500-$2,000 you can get a nice unit in either of these 2 brands. Thanks for any info you can provide based on experience.

Have you considered a Summerset? We have one and love it and it is not too expensive.

I was in the same boat as you, and though I don't have any personal experience with Bull or CalFlames, I found lots of good things said about Napoleon grills. I think I only paid $650 for mine and I am very happy.

Thanks. I've been hearing positive things about Napoleon and Bull and negatives on CalFlame. I continue to hear that Lynx is the absolute best, but at about 2-3 times the cost.

I'm pretty sure all the CalFlame stuff and the Summerset stuff is from China, if that matters to you. Lynx and FireMagic are two of the top brands, but they are overpriced. About 6 years ago I was on my way to buy a Napoleon Grill and they shop sold me on the FireMagic instead Also check out Memphis Grills: This is a REAL product review >> http://pelletheads.com/index.php?topic=9357.0
