I friend was telling me about a resort they’d stayed in that had a large “jacuzzi tub†on the deck. And since it looked like a bathtub, they decided to add some bubble bath. And once their kids figured out how to turn on the bubbles hilarity ensued.
When they were done, they pulled the plug and rinsed the bubbles down the drain. Although I wonder if the next guests got a free bubble bath…
But my question is can I do the same thing in my hot tub? I know I’d have to pump the tub out to waste and do a bit of rinsing, but could the pump, multi-port (I figure I'll put it on recirc) or heater be damaged? And would whatever residual bubble bath made it into the pool be a problem before the chlorine (hopefully) ate it?

bumping this for you.
I try very hard to get no foam in my spa and if bubble stuff were added, I'd likely have a stroke. I like it nice and clean and clear.
Hopefully someone will be able to answer you.

I have never tried to put bubbles in my spa. I always thought the bubbles from the jets were enough. Now I'm curious! This should be fun and thanks for the idea!
