On my 3rd booster pump since buying a house with a pool. The first was a hayward 5060, I replaced that with a 6060 after about a year when it seized, timers got our of sync and it ran with no water for awhile. The 6060 ran great for the first 12 months, but recently started leaking the fixes were not enough and it messed up the bearings and has seized as well. So I'm now needing another one, looking at another 6060, easy replacement - just swap it out. Was curious if there was a better option - cheaper, better quality, more efficient, whatever just something else.
Thanks,
Jeff

Both Pentair and Zodiac make replacement booster pumps for the Letro and Polaris cleaner lines. The Polaris PB4 is the most common around here but the Halcyon is a little easier to service.
