28 foot agp is ready for winter but now too much extra rain on winter cover. Do I buy a elec pump or a siphon pump to get the extra water off befor it freezes? If I leave the non elc pump out there will it continue to work with out daily attention? I assume with the elec version you plug in, use and remove? ..
Next year going to do the 2 cover aproach, too many leaves already... Kim

this works very well as long as you don't have decking real close to the pool (it makes it hard to install) Eliminator pool cover http://www.blueoceanpools.com/product_i ... i/16/pi/37

BTW for now, siphon pumps work okay; but sometimes they pump so slow that you can remove water from the pool if there are holes in your cover. Electric pumps are nice but are really expensive if they have an auto-shut off feature.
