I would like some opinions on different makes of valve actuators. I have found the following models: 1. Intermatic Pe24VA 2. Goldline GVA24 3. Pentair CVA24T
It appears that the Intermatic unit is the lowest cost.

You missed Jandy's JVA24.
All are interchangeable. All last a long time. I use Intermatics often as replacements for the exact reason you cited, they cost the least.
