 Post subject: Auto Fill during winter

New pool. Any special instructions for the auto fill if not closing pool? Last year we had several days below freezing.

Does the freeze protection turn everything else on when the temps drop?

If it's set up correctly, and depending on the automation system you have, yes, it opens all the valves and runs the pump(s) when the temp is below the setpoint (usually 35ºF).
