OK now it's my turn here. I just started my swg today. I've been bumping up my salt levels and I'm at 2750 according to the aquacheck strips. I added one more 40lb bag to get me closer to 3000ppm and fired up the unit. I know it takes a whlie for it to stabilize but it's currently showing a reading of 1200 and not generating. My question is how often dose it adjust itself....or should I see the reading start to climb in the next few hrs.

I'll post my own reply here just as an FYI toY'all. I called goldline to ask what the deal is...BTW very nice on the phone! Every 100 minutes of filter operation the unit will switch polarity on the cell, at that time is take a reading and averages it out. You can force a polarity change by filpping the switch from auto to off and back to auto.
