If so, and if you have the time, I would appreciate it you wouldn't mind sending me a PM me to simply let me know why you became one and what Freemasonry means to you. I have thought about doing it for a while and I am wondering if I should (or shouldn't).

It's no secret that someone's a Freemason. :wink:

Masonry is not so much a secret society but more of a "society with secrets." The private aspects are the modes of recognition (like a handshake) and parts of the meeting ritual. Central tenets of the organization are charitable work, moral uprightness, and fraternal friendship.
