I agree ( once it stops raining up here I'll re-check everything ) , I had asked that no one touch anything unless I was present , and I stayed home from work to be available , but of course he came back after he did everything , so who knows. I hate to be suspicious of him , but you never know.

So the problem seems to be solved. Didn't want to post until we ran things a bit. We swapped the pool filter lid and o-ring, and overly lubbed the area. Also rostated the filter and messed around with the air bleeder. Not sure which step did the trick, but the system is air free like it has never been. Thanks to everyone for all the nice advice, you guys rock !!!!
