I too am getting ready to add a deck. I am not sure which way to go, either even with or under the top rails? How do you put the cover on if you decided to have your deck come under the top rail?

And keep the pics coming. We are doing the composite probably in a tan color. It is pricey!

Mine is not under but it is a tight fit. One year I used a few bungees to pull that side of the cover away from the pool and keep it taught. I've seen some folks use bags of sand as weight. Another option is an anchor system built into your deck, that one takes a bit of imagination on how to do it.

I have my deck even with the too rail not under and am glad I did
I would do it even with the top rail and just leave about an inch gap or so, just enuf to get the cover on for winter
If you go under the top rail people will step on it to launch into the pool
